How a traditional railway company successfully masters audits with aiio.
HVLE was faced with the challenge of revising its internal processes and technical systems so that it could continue to meet the strict requirements of the new EU directives while further increasing its efficiency and sustainability.
A modern IMS for a traditional company
The main challenge was to comprehensively modernize HVLE's integrated management system in order to meet the new requirements of EU Regulation 2018/762 for the safety certification of railroad undertakings. This system, which was already certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, Directive 2004/49/EC, EU (Regulation) 2019/779 and ISO 50001:2018, had to be updated both in terms of content and technology. At the same time, integrated aspects such as disposal, hazardous goods transportation and sustainability had to be further taken into account.
Flexible in M365 with aiio
To efficiently manage the process management challenges, HVLE opted for the B2B SaaS solution aiio. Thanks to the seamless integration into the Microsoft-based system infrastructure, aiio was put into operation within a very short time at the beginning of the certification process. This enabled HVLE to achieve its goals quickly and effectively without delays in the certification process.
Audit? Passed!
After just a few months, the system was available to all 270 HVLE employees - with completely new modeled processes - and has been in use ever since. In addition, the certification of the safety management system by the Federal Railway Authority was successfully completed with the process management software and documentation from aiio.
